This is a favorite at our house! Nothing like biting into a warm cookie and having yummy melted chocolate drip from your lips. They are still great after they cool. And they look all fancy too.
1 bag Hershey Chocolate Kisses 1/2 Cup Butter (real stuff people) 3/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar 1/3 Cup (packed) Brown Sugar 1 Egg 2 Tbls Milk 1 teas Real Vanilla Extract 1 teas Baking Soda 1/2 teas Salt 1 1/2 Cups Flour additional granulated sugar
Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
In large bowl or Kitchen Aid, beat the butter and peanut butter together until well blended.
Add the granulated and brown sugars and beat until fluffy.
Add egg, milk and vanilla. Mix well.
Add salt and baking soda and then change to batter hook on Kitchen Aid and add the flour a little at a time until well blended. Batter should be a thick cookie consistency.
Shape into 1" balls and roll in additional granulated sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
WHILE COOKIES ARE BAKING - remove candy Kisses from their wrappers.
Remove from oven and immediately place a candy Kiss on top of each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks a little.
Remove from cookie sheet and let cool.
Devour a couple... just to make sure they are edible. ;)
